Our tradition of customer service excellence began in the late 1970s with a 10-room motel located in west Edmonton. From the beginning, we endeavoured to build top-tier brands that aligned with our values and service acumen. In the 2000s, our family business continued to grow, fuelled by our steadfast focus on exceeding our customers’ expectations every day. We opened the 160-room Hilton Garden Inn West Edmonton in 2004, and as the only one in Edmonton, this ignited the Meghji family’s desire to transform Edmonton into a destination for travellers around the globe. In 2007, we opened the 103-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Edmonton West, and we rang in 2011 with the opening of the 136-room Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton West. Finally, in the spring of 2014, Platinum Investment opened the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel– the first hotel at the growing north-western Canadian air gateway.
